Brock Shipe Klenk is happy to announce that Steffanie M. Speck will be joining the firm as a partner, effective May 1, 2021. Ms. Speck specializes in commercial finance and real estate transactions of all types, and is a Licensed Title Insurance Producer who will found the firm’s title insurance practice. Ms. Speck’s clients include banks, real estate development companies, and private investor groups. Ms. Speck also serves as a Rule 31 listed general civil mediator. Prior to joining Brock Shipe Klenk, Ms. Speck was a partner in a leading Knoxville law firm. Ms. Speck is active in the community, and serves on the Board of Trustees of her children’s school.

Luke Durham Joins Brock Shipe Klenk PLC

Brock Shipe Klenk PLC is pleased to announce that, effective April 1, 2021, Luke Durham will join the firm as a partner. Mr. Durham is an accomplished trial attorney who routinely counsels many of the region’s top businesses and business owners. Elijah C. Lovingfoss Joins Brock Shipe Klenk PLC

On September 21, 2020, Brock Shipe Klenk PLC welcomed Elijah C. Lovingfoss as a new associate attorney to the firm. Mr. Lovingfoss earned outstanding academic credentials in law school, and has already gained significant experience in numerous areas of the law. Avery Lovingfoss Joins Brock Shipe Klenk PLC

Brock Shipe Klenk PLC is very pleased to welcome Avery Lovingfoss to the firm, effective June 1, 2020. Ms. Lovingfoss will focus on commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lovingfoss worked as a criminal defense attorney for a top Knoxville firm, and interned for Supreme Court Justice Sharon Lee.

Four Additional Attorneys Join Brock PLC; Firm Renamed to Brock Shipe Klenk PLC

Effective January 31, 2020, W. Edward (Ed) Shipe will join Teresa Klenk and John Brock as a partner in Brock PLC, and the firm will change its name to Brock Shipe Klenk PLC. Mr. Shipe specializes in complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on contracts, finance, and real estate. Mr. Shipe also provides business advice and real estate transaction services to select companies. Joining Mr. Shipe will be Deborah Buchholz, who also specializes in health care transactions and regulatory compliance matters, and Cuyler Haskins, a commercial litigator.

The firm is also pleased to announce that, effective immediately, John A. Lucas will be of counsel with the firm. Mr. Lucas is a highly decorated military veteran who specializes in complex business litigation in both state and federal courts. Mr. Lucas brings extensive experience to a wide range of legal problems including the defense of class action lawsuits, antitrust and unfair competition lawsuits, lender liability claims, product liability suits, and disputes over business control and similar cases. He has argued cases before the United States Supreme Court and numerous state and federal trial and appellate courts nationwide.
